As long as the twizler didn't have any pubic hairs stuck to it, that doesn't sound too bad.

So, food that is dropped onto any unclean surface for less than 3 seconds is not contaminated with bacteria? BS.

I'll eat most anything that hits the floor if it's at my house. Somewhere else, no dice.
If I drop a piece of buttered bread and I can get most of the chunks out of the butter, it's getting eaten.
If only you knew what was in your food in the first place, it wouldn't be an issue :)

If it's dry food that's been dropped, I usually visually inspect it, brush it off if necessary, then eat it. If it's wet food, I won't eat it after it's been dropped... ever.

My wife, on the other hand... if there's anything she finds in/on her food that's even reomtely suspicious, she won't eat it. Which is fine with me, because then I usually eat it myself.

As kids, me and my brothers would hunt for "ground candy" whenever we went to the supermarket. If we found a piece of candy on the floor and it looked like it was in good shape, we ate it. It totally digusted our mom, but hey, that's what she got for not buying us any candy in the first place! :D

Interestingly, the chances are your hands have more harmful bacteria on them than the floor.
