Since today is the first day of the Stanley Cup championship I thought this would be an appropriate question to ask ATOT: Do you follow hockey?
I was talking to my friend from Michigan, and apparently hockey is a big deal up there. This seemed strange to me, because in all my travels I have never really seen a city/state care at all about it's hockey team. Here in Columbus with the Bluejackets it was just a passing fad for about a week or so. My friend seems to insist that hockey is THE sport. Personally, I think hockey is big in Detroit because they can't win at anything else
I'm fairly sure hockey exists just so that Canadians can have their own little sport, seeing how the vast majority of players are from Canada. It just seems that it's everyone's third choice sport, something to watch when you crave sports but nothing else is on.
