I just sent you a nasty PM. Prior to the posting in this thread though.

You should make time. What did you read as a kid?

Did you concentrate on those colors I recommended?

I did. I noticed the pea combines going .3 mph to harvest the crap that you buy in your supermarket.

They're painted a bloodred and storm green (similar to the colors you posted).

the snobbery is strong in this one.....

Can we add pretentiousness..ery? Rogo, with how much time you spend posting this rhetoric, how in touch with the earth can you possibly be? Let's be honest here, you're involved with the running of a PC gaming cybercafe; you're not exactly the greenpeace spokesperson you're pretending to be.

On topic, I live in a rural area back at home and I often spend time (most often at night) walking around in the woods/corn fields and it's wonderful to get a "nature break." Concentrating on a single color throughout the day to get a better understanding of unseen things? Seriously?

My rhetoric takes less than 3 seconds to type. My labor, on my land, can't be measured. I now make a decent income and spend my 23 hours per week improving my land.

What I don't understand is self-complacency.

I'm sorry Ross-I vilified you (in this thread) prior to a certain understanding.

Colors are important.

How are they important? They mean nothing.

How are they important? They mean nothing.

Is this a serious question? Colors are important because the world, in which you function/live, is composed of colors. If you can't see color then you are living in a world that is without full function. A color is just as potent as a scent. The senses cannot be overlooked as being the most important aspects of psyche.

The world is composed of matter. I think of the colors as an illusion. It covers what is really there. Don't mistake our crude sense's for true perception. And I would argue that emotions are more important.

That philosophy is very old, it is tied to the pre-socratics who believed that that the perception of the 'world' was tied to the tiny movemnts of hook-like organisms.

Emotions are even less reliable than the colors you perceive throughout your day.

I don't worry about things being reliable. What are you so scared of?

And the color we can see is but a narrow spectrum of light, nothing more.

Where is moonbeam he is much more fun than you are.

You ran out of hippie quotes?

You ran out of hippie quotes?

I ran out of patience.

You dont' worry about the reliability of the infracture that sustains you because you don't unerstand its reality.

You don't undertstan 'colors' because you chosen to be myopic.

You don't understand moombeam.

I don't think myopia would affect his ability to perceive colors.
