Do you fly your countries flag at your house? If not, why?

I don't because we know where we live?

Seriously though we don't. But during the period right before we went into Iraq to take out Saddam, when we all thought he had WMDs, there was snow on the ground here.

One day I came home to a 17 foot tall missle made out of snow and spray painted red white and blue by my father.

We live on a main street and for the next week cars were constantly beeping to show support.

I bet if he did that today we'd be lynched.

Btw, wasn't implying anything about anyone. I dont care what you do. Its just tradition in my family to fly a flag.

I have little hand flags in front of the house but not a big full flag.
According to flag etiquette you need to put the flag out each morning and put it away each night unless you have light shining on it.

Edit: i also live in front of a Firehouse so there is already a huge flag i can see everyday.

I have a flag, and would fly it, but we rent. The owners won't let us attach the flag bracket to the side of the house and I'm too lazy to try and dig a hole. Oh well, we'll be gone in the next 6 months and then maybe we'll have a different situation.
