This is an odd situation. I find it easier to get the car going smoother and get the clutch out easier if Im on a hill. Somehow just sitting on relativly flat ground I have more trouble going off smooth :p Anyone else like this before they got good at a stick?

No. I have to tell myself to let out the clutch a little before I let go of the brake..and sometimes it doesn't happen. Luckily the only times I have rolled backwards no one was behind me.

Wow that is very uncommon, usually most peeps hate getting started going up hill. Mabey you just like giving it more throttle and that is what works better for you... In a peterbuilt you can use the charlie handle... that makes it alot easier..

Well at first was worried about hills. Then I got a chance to use it and not have to worry about rolling back and it was smooth sailing from there :)

Not really. It is fairly easy.

that said,

starting uphill is the hardest part of driving a stickshift on the street AND not wearing out the clutch, is indeed, a challenge
