ehow is worthless

expertvillage / ehow videos on youtube are terrible - they're like a minute long and don't tell you anything....

Ha, expert village was my first thought when I read the thread title. ehow pages are overly simple but I've found info there before. Expert Village videos are so bad I wonder if they're doing it intentionally as some kind of joke.

Yeah, this site is just a joke. Somehow they're near the top of search results a lot of the time. Probably because no one has actually written a real article on how to do something so ehow's fucking joke is the only thing that shows up.

It often comes up on google but I find really with 100% consistency that the articles are useless. Lacking in pictures, and very high level. For example an article on how to change a transmission would be useless like:

1) Turn off car
2) Jack up car
3) Remove bolts
4) Replace tranny
5) Done!

That's about all I need to know.

I was looking at how to change the brakes on my ex's escort. i looked up Ehow and just laughed. what a waste.

It's not always helpful, but I have used eHow numerous times for various different things. Most often it's how to do a simple task in Windows that has slipped my mind.
