Right on! People cannot be replaced, that is what you should feel attached to; if not then you are a sociopath.

Uh...it is possible to be attached to inanimate objects as well as people...it's not as if it's mutually exclusive...

I specifically bought my '98 MR2 so I wouldn't be emotionally attached to it. It's a Toyota you see, although a really fun one to drive!

It's Alfas that get me head over heels, but they always end up costing me the earth to maintain. Plus they're bad luck for me, I found a beautiful Alfasud TI and then a P plater with bald tires who can't read give way signs wrote it off a week later.

And my computer, maybe if my computer had more RAM I'd be attached to it!

I really am attached to my Logitech G25 wheel though. So good!

One year, I upgraded my PC for Valentine's Day... does that count?

The next year, I was stingy with her and did nothing... the day after, the computer started messing up in ways I had never seen before. Coincidence...?

I am emotionally attached to some of my cars but that is to be expected since I am much more intimate with them than most people are. I have either restored or completely built most of them. Computers on the other hand are simple tools and I don't have any attachment to any of them and I have built them all too. Computers become obsolete, a fine automobile never does.

Come on... say it! You think everyone who cares about a computer is a complete fool.
