I almost just put the peanut butter (smooth!) in the fridge. That would have sucked the next time I wanted peanut butter, I'd be looking in the pantry like "Hey, where's the PB?!?!?!"

Then, when walking up the stairs w/ peanut butter sandwich, I almost tripped. I think this might be my last Evan Williams/Pepsi of the night!

Yeah I do it all the time, sometimes I go to put the milk in the cupboard, etc. Always catch myself doing it though.

The worst is when you find the peanut butter, and it's hard as a rock.

Yup, bread in fridge actually decreases the usable life of the bread, I think that's what my Mom taught me.

It'll go stale faster, but you can always toast it. If you don't eat bread often (and like toast), it's a good idea, because it won't mold as fast in the fridge.

I put dirty dishes/cups/conainers in there when my parents are gone to the cabin so mold doesn't start to grow on them.

Looked all over the house for it. Gave up, went to get a Coke, there it was.

It seems to at least delay the growth of mold. I don't really mind the stale bread if I toast it...
