I see people on ebay selling like large quantities of pretty expensive electronics, digital camcorders for example. They are selling these items considerably lower than retail, maybe even a little lower that what can be found from the hot deals section. How is it this is possible? Are they buying these from the manufacturer, which I would find hard to believe. Just curious.

Well, there is always the five finger discount. Ebay and the like sure beat the pawnshop when your trying to get the best price for your goods . . .

Well, let's assume that the items were purchased legitmately. They must be able to buy in volume from somewhere or be a reseller. Not really sure how they do it.

Refurbs/returns are probably a good source

Well, since I have been looking at camcorders on ebay, I noticed quite a few people selling BRAND NEW items still in un-opened box. And they have like 50 or more for the quantity.

are you looking only at intial bids? final bids are what counts, many piss poor deal auctions started off as ultra hot😛
