totally out of your @ss. I have been doing some EE problems... and for 2 out of the 10... I totally have no clue how to do them. So I just wrote some total bullsh!t as the solution for them... with phrases like "of course, lambda = blah" since professors seem to love "of course" even when I have no f'in clue what the h3ll lambda is.

have any of you ever done this... utter and complete BS for the problems you had to solve?

I had a free-response final (no scantron) for a multinational finance class my senior year, and the exam was soOOOOoo hard.

I blanked on a formula that was required for the last 3 problems, and started putting the prof's website address down in the answer blanks, the last two answers I put were "I LOVE KIMCHEE" and "KOREA #1". (Korean prof.)

LOL :D

LMAO... haha

I have also written this on one of my tests "I dont remember the exact formula, but this is something close... " and just made up something that was totally random... and solved the problem with the random formula. I did get about 25% partial credit on that problem so I was like w00t... better than a zero.

Are you kidding? I've been talking out of my ass for so long my larynx has relocated to my colon! The only reason I do remotely well in college is because I just BS my way through everything. I always did well on essays because I just use big words ("The interaction between the two characters is the culmination of an inconspicuous competition that prevailed throughout the entire plot") and usually it applies.

I had a question on a test that I had no clue about so I actually told one of my TA's that he would be blessed with reproductive success if he gave me even one point for this question. He found it funny and actually gave me a point. It was for the class Biology of Reproduction so that's probably why he found it amusing.

I once wrote 2 paragraphs on a calc exam explaining how I didnt know the answer but shoudl get some credit anyway because I showed up for class and wrote some stuff down.

I think I got a point or two.

Then on another exam I drew a box with an arrow pointing to it and a note saying "Put extra point here". When I got the exam back the prof had a +1 in the box and gave me an extra point on my final score.

Nice, good to see things like that actually work :)
