If they're unsafe I follow them and call the police/state patrol. If they're just stupid I leave them be. I have had two people actually get out of their cars (one with a bar of some sort) and start marching at my car yelling, but both returned to their vehicle when they saw me draw my handgun.

Or if I'm already going like 70 but somebody's still on my ass, I'll wait for a long line of opposing traffic and then signal a right turn and come to a complete stop and wait a good 5 seconds to complete the turn.
Who's the aggressive driver?

You have some deep-seated passive-aggressive issues of which you're in denial about and need to seek professional help.

See my other post above. Those other "aggressive drivers" are people that you have pissed off with your passive-aggressive discourtesy.

Wow, a complete psychological diagnosis all from a brief paragraph describing my non-frequent driving habits when confronted with strenuous traffic situations... well done, you pretentious f_ck. Everybody has a bad and stressful day every once in a while, get used to it.

"You slammed a door two years ago? Wow, you really have some deep-rooted psychological problems stemming from a bad up-bringing and sex-life troubles. I am also willing to bet that you're 6'1" and diabetic and your uncle's stepfather had a gambling problem, I am correct in all of these observations because I understand humans and normal ones NEVER display any sign of emotional discomfort or distress without having diagnosed mental and emotional issues, that's just absolutely absurd." </derisive sarcasm>

Holy, are you driving right now?

Yes, but only if the worst case scenario is that my 13 year old pickup is going to get scratched. I would never do it at anything over a slow speed. Too much chance of somebody getting hurt.

I get annoyed, I honk my horn, and I complain to whoever is in the car with me, but then I move on and let it go.

I was once driving in a park where it's a 15mph speed limit because there are blind turns and joggers and children everywhere. I stuck to the speed limit because I didn't want to be the one plowing into a group of children.

Well, this A-hole in a minivan comes behind me at breakneck speeds and starts tailgating and goes crazy trying to pass me. Normally, I would let him pass, but this time I just couldn't. Each move he made to pass, I would then move in the same direction and stop him. He kept trying to do it. He came close to passing a few times but I would forcibly cross into his path. We played this whole game for more than a mile. Luckily nothing happened once we got to an open road because I peeled off. He didn't have a chance to catch up.

I almost got creamed by a guy crossing three lanes yesteday - he managed to change lanes six more times in the quarter mile before he got in line to turn left.

That's what I think of when someone says aggressive driving; accelerating to stop someone from merging safely, driving up lanes that are ending when traffic is stopped in the other lane (and then cutting someone off), passing on the shoulder, weaving lanes (which always includes 'not signaling).

I'm not sure what sort of driving the aggressive driving champions are defending, but I assume it isn't these things, which all contribute to gridlock and safety issues.

Mr. I'm not a shrink, but I saw one on TV last night :)

Only when someone is not using their low-beams when they should I am mad/pissed off. It was once someone coming with their low beams straight into my eyes. I flashed the high beams once, and he changed to high beams. The light was just a bit more intense, no other difference
Sometime I wish I would be driving a BIG truck...

Except for the horn part. Unless there's danger or I think the driver's asleep (sitting at a green light and not going), I ususally don't honk since I learned a long time ago that the other driver doesn't have a clue what he's doing to irritate me. so honking doesn't do any good - although the befuddled look you get when you do honk can be rewarding in itself.

I don't care because if they cut me off they probably keep right on going and are gone pretty quick as well.

However, I've never had more fun driving the speed limit than when there's some jackass riding my ass. If I'm cruising along going around a couple people and someone comes up behind me and gets so close I can't even see their headlights any more. I'll slow down and drive the speed limit until they back off and then I speed back up and let them go. Lots of fun.

im 20 and just started driving recently cause i put off getting my license and u gotta be 18 in brazil to start with...

ive been getting annoyed with ppl cuttin me off and whatnot for a while now so yesterday i just started doing the same... like not totally deliberately but just speeding by them and cutting them off at times...

specially in brazil i dont think flipping the bird will go down cause theres way too much traffic usually to make any sort of getaway and ppl can be really violent and irrational... its pointless and just stupid to cause sh!t for something as dumb as being cut off

Some people may think that I just stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night ;) , but my point continues to be proven with every post.

Who is committing the aggression here in Franky's post? Without question it is Franky. He even admitted he enjoys it, has fun with it.

C'mon people, you're not that stupid are you? Uh... never mind.

No, I just say to myself, "What a dumbass, I hope he gets in a car accident and dies right in front of me." Then I keep my distance away from him/her.

I've twice had the pleasure of seeing some jackass pulled over after doing something stupid when it turns out the car behind him was a cop :)

exactly, that's what i do... imo it'd stupid to try and "teach them a lesson", you're no better than the other driver if you do that

About 8 years ago a friend and I were driving in Atlanta looking for an address of some girls we met on spring break. While pulling up to a red light, this older car with dark tinted windows pulls up along side of us. The next thing I know the window goes down and some Jerry Springer Redneck starts cussing and pitching a hellacious fit. My friend who was driving unrolled his window and the guy is saying we looked at his girlfriend (wtf). The light turns green and we get stopped at the next red light. The redneck then pulls up along side of us and gets out of his car and hits the window on the drivers side of our car.

At this point my friend looses it. He gets out of the car and litterly shoves his fathers .357 revoler down the guys throat! He cocked the trigger and tells him, "Its time to die". The girl friend gets out of the car screaming. Blood is comming out of his mouth where he probably got a tooth or two knocked out from the gun being slammed violently into his mouth and I'm still trying to figure out what the hell is happening.

My friend then says its your lucky day and tells the guy to get into his car and drive off. He does while my friend points the gun at him the whole time.

We left Atlanta then after. My friend said later he felt the gun busting through part of his teeth. To this day I have never seen him loose it like he did that night.

The point is that people have different breaking points and varying degrees of vengance once the breaking point is reached. Some flip birds, some break your front teeth out while shoving a gun down your throat. I remember reading about a guy who took a cross-bow, shot and killed another driver with it.

As my Japanese friend tells me all the time "Be Safe".
