Do you ever have misanthropic days?

For the last several days I've contemplated building a shack in the middle of a mountain valley far from the noxious remnants of a social atmosphere.

Projects at work are getting to me. Anyone empathize?

As I told a friend of mine today, I need a sabbatical. Take about 3 months away from society and live in a tent in the Yosemite backcountry!

I think I've actually evolved beyond misanthrope into a new breed known as the "omnithrope".

How about an ATOT trip to the mountains or something? We can assimilate an entirely luddite existence for a few days.

I'm really hoping to head to take a real vacation soon. The attrition of IT can really bleed one's passion dry.
