i hate when the thread has 200 replies and somebody calls you out for not reading every.single.one.of.them.

So is that a yes, or a no? :p

To answer the question, sometimes. If I want to see why a pointless thread has many replies, I think it would be better to read the OP.

I try to read a few of the original posts. Then I usually get bored or need to respond to one of those, so I go to the last page.

Usually, I will read the entire thread if it is interesting, but if it sucks, or I decide to reply sooner, I just reply and move along.

But as someone else said, at 100 posts per page, page 2 is not a big deal.

Usually I read teh OP and the first page of replies....and if it's intersting i'll keep going. If not I just skip to the last page and read those replies.

I hate when i have something i want to contribute..and i wanna quote someone's reply on the first page..but I'm hesitant to do so because I don't know what's written on any of the subsequent pages..so I end up not contributing to the thread. did that make sense? lol.

I generally read the first post and then I scan and skip to the last page. My view is set to show quite a few posts per page, so that would be too much reading for me. :)

If I've already read the posts, I'll also skip to the last page.
