Do you ever blink and get some kind of glaze over your eye?

It usually happenes in the morning, but I've been up since 7AM and it just happened to me now at 4PM (And does every now and then).

It's like you blink and your vision is blocked by some hazy milky substance. It is definately something on the eye, because it will not go away without several more blinks, and the corner seems to develop somthing sticky after blinking it away. This sometimes happens when I'm driving, so it seems like I would hear it blamed on traffic accidents by other people. Then again, I never hear them blamed on "uncontrollable sneezing" or an "aggressive hornet" either.

Also, I have a lazy left eye that's overpowered by my right eye, so having this happen to my right eye is more of a distraction that it would be for most.

I get it all the time, in both eyes.
5 or 6 times per day i'm getting small snotlike globs out of my eyes.

It's amazing how the young panic and marvel over what us old folks have seen for years. :p

It's eye goo/sleep. It's simply tears dried just enough to make it gooey and milky.

Might wanna mention it next time you're at the eye doctor. I used to have the same thing, and it's a symtom of retinal tears. Like you said, some is normal, but not a lot :p also, if you ever see a quick flash of light in your periferal vision, like a camera flash but quicker, thats another symptom too

Well, like jntdesign said: It sometimes happens multiple times during the day and it happens late pretty often too. I agree that it's normal because I now know I'm not the only one, I just don't think it's drying tears. It DOES usually happen in the morning, and I came to the same conclusion after the first few times but I think it's more of a discharge that usually happens at night. Probably what dries up to make sleep sand (Though people used to tell me that that's dead bacteria husks ;)).
