Do you eat when you're hungry?

I eat when I'm hungry, and sometimes snack in between meals.

I'm overweight but not fat. Carrying an extra 15 or so
 
a bigger problem than eating when you are hungry is eating until you are full
several small meals a day is a good practice, but you have to only eat a small amount. don't eat really fast and don't keep eating until you are full. if you eat a small portion and then stop, about 10-20 minutes later you'll stop feeling hungry
 
I eat 4 meals/day... I don't really snack often, but when I do, it's either something like fruit, some dry cereal, or a glass of milk. I actively avoid grazing.

when it comes to meal times, I measure everything and don't give much thought to whether or not I'm hungry.

I'm like 20 pounds overweight, but losing (and I used to be like 200+ pounds overweight)

Yes, I eat when I am hungry because I know I will be hungry again by meal time.
The only time I really dont eat is late at night. Even if I am starving. I know that after I do, I will not feel well.

I used to snack a lot throughout the day. Not because I was bored but because I was hungry. Recently I am not very hungry any more and have been forcing myself to eat just a little bit. 🙁

No i am not fat. I lost 3 pounds over the past two weeks and it is not a good thing.
 
No.... I usually get hungry when I'm at work and I have nothing to eat... So I have to wait a few hours until I either go on lunch or go home.

At a low point I hardly ate at all - Maybe 1 small meal a day... I was ridiculously skinny. Now I eat 2 meals most days until I'm over stuffed. I put on about 10 lbs over Thanksgiving weekend. I'm not fat, but I'm not walking around with the body of a male model either. My ass is getting bigger though... kind of fun to watch it jiggle when I slap it... About a buck ninety right now and I'll probably trim just a little of that off before Xmas feasting begins.
 
I eat 7 meals a day, every 3 hours or less. Don't give myself the chance to get hungry 🙂
 
I eat whenever I'm hungry. So that usually amounts to a couple of snacks in the afternoon. I'm not overweight, the problem is that the portions that I get with my meals are too small for what I need, so I end up having to eat a second meal sometimes. This is what I get for exercising.
 
Really? Complex carbs give me mad energy. If I eat simple carbs like white bread I get tired though.

I guess if have a lot of carbs and then do some form of cardio or lifting you'll be fine. But reading? Oh man... I'm out like a light.
 
IF hungry and its not meal time i will snack. usually a green apple or some other fruit. though it sucks that its winter. the quality of fresh fruit is going to drop =(
 
Of course, overeating is the only long term vice I have. I am not fat because I constantly battle a biological compulsion to eat beyond satiation. I no longer try and look for tricks and BS to pretend otherwise. It is simply a fight that requires willpower. Sometimes shaky and sometimes not. In the past three years I have been as low as ~8.5% bodyfat with a lot of muscle and fitness and where I am now which is probably a bit over 20% and less fitness and less muscle. But life is not interesting unless it's go ups and downs, right 🙂 I don't cry over it.
 
I have a pretty bad diet. I eat whenever I want, and a lot of times when bored. Lately I have been eating fast food 4-5 times a week. But I have a good metabolism and exercise. I'm 6'1 and weigh 165lbs. Actually lost a couple pounds lately down to 162.5. Go figure
 
When I'm at work, I wait until meal time, then proceed to eat much more than humans are supposed to be capable of eating. Yesterday it was two chipotle fajita burrito's (one barbacoa and one carnitas.)

Outside of work, I usually order my food or start cooking after I'm already hungry .... so by the time I have food, I'm enstarvened. At which point, I eat. On weekdays, usually I eat about 2/3 as much as my lunch, on weekends, this varies wildly depending upon how long I've gone between meals. Sometimes, I will go 24-30 hours without eating, and then eat 3000+ calories in one sitting.
I never eat when I'm full.

I'm indeed fat, been that way my whole life. I've managed to drop a few pounds this year, but I always seem to bulk up in the winter and gain it all back ... ugh ... Need to get my snowmobiles and ride!
 
I usually fap away till I pass out in a puddle of my own vomit. Then I wake up around mealtime.

For a serious answer, yes.
 
I eat small meals all day long at certain times. I stay in excellent shape and feel just as good at 28 as any other point in life. I am at the exact weight I want to be right now. I am at 178lbs 5'10". I might drop some weight closer to the summer time depending on what I feel would be a good weight to bicycle ride. I take my fitness level very seriously.
 
i eat when im hungry

only times i use meal-times is when im at school or work (because there are limited opportunities to eat)
 
I eat continuously and make 6 figures with rock hard abs and a trophy wife. Reading this thread is depressing.

I love your jiggly butt waaaay more than the crack running through the bottom of your back when we first started dating. It's nice and squishy and for once you know what it feels like to have your ass grabbed all of the time. 😉


With that said, I usually eat one meal a day which is dinner. Not much of an eater. If I get hungry (Or if bob yells/nags at me to eat something... which ever comes first) I will eat lunch, which usually consists of a sandwich or a small plate of raw veggies.
I don't not eat because I'm trying to lose weight or anything, just never really had much of an apatite. If I do eat breakfast or lunch; however, I end up getting hungry all day.
