no. the bruise tastes funny and it's mushier than the banana. not that i have a texture issue or anything. : /

I eat up to the bruise, break it off and take a bite of the opposite side if it's not bruised adn chuck the rest.

I ran into this article about bananas and found it interesting. There used to be another type of banana that was sweeter than what we're used to. I always wondered where the seed for the banana was.

It tends to be the sweetest part, so, yeah, but if it's too far gone then the texture, or lack of it, can be a turnoff.

If it's small I'll tolerate it but if it's big I just eat around it. I like my bananas big and hard with a little bit of green still left.
