Do you eat or drink in front of your computer?

Yes, but since I got my cordless MX combo I keep all drinks on the floor instead of on my desk, unless its a soda bottle with a cap. When I used to use $10 newegg special keyboards, spills were of no concern, but this combo was around $90 so I'm being a little more cautious.

heck yeah i do. My computer desk is littered with pop cans, bowls of various things, candy wrappers, cereal boxes, and paper towels. I havent ever really spilled anything on my keyboard.

Ever since I took my keyboard completely apart and cleaned it, I cover it when I'm eating so I don't splash or drop crumbs into it. It looks like a brand new keyboard again!

Yes..all the time..I'am eating a fuji apple right now..and my keyboard is sticky from eating raisins..coffee stains all over the place..got something stuck under my g key once and had to shake the keyboard upside down till it came out. Never did figure out what it was. But the g works again...:Q

Yup, even knocked a cup of coffee all over my keyboard once a few years back. Just cleaned up and popped off the keys and gave it a thorough clean, good as new!

I live in a studio apartment and always eat in front of my desktop, never in front of my laptop. I don't really care if I damage my $10 keyboard.

very, very rarely. If I'm working a long day and starving and have meetings through lunch sometimes I'll bring food to my desk. Otherwise I avoid it, mostly because of bugs, but the fact that I don't want to gain any more weight is a factor as well.

Hah! I did that when I was still living at the dorms. My keyboard was on my desk, and I used the pull out tray for random papers, hw and eating. It was great.

At home, I eat and drink around here only if I'm doing something on the computer that I don't want to interrupt (like chatting or something...heh).
