Never heard the word Pop used to describe soda up here in the north.


Whenever I hear someone use the word pop to describe soda I picture Cletus from the Simpsons or some really old southerner sitting on his front porch whittling

Pop it is in Minnesota. When I lived down south, everything was Coke regardless of what it was, even non-colas. That was not right.

What experiments? Can you give us a reference to a scientific study in a peer-reviewed journal? How recent? Do you have any follow-up study references? There is a lot of "junk science" floating around. Be careful of the validity of your sources.

Sorry,haven`t got a link to that study.I heard it on the news and since I think diet coke taste like poison I remembered it.You are right about that many studies are dubious but I think they have a piont there.Every time you try to make natural things better bye copy them it will be a bad copy.I just wanted to hightlight the fact,dietcoke isnt good for you.

ugh..ok. if i gave you a pack of caffine pills to swallow..you'd die. the only time the rats were damaged was when they gave them enourmous amounts. basic rule.. enourmous amounts of sh*t f*cks you up. 'm not sure what the equiv for humans would be, but i doubt you could physically drink enough. diet coke has almost no calories, doesn't rot my teeth as bad as normal coke, and doesn't give me that icky after feeling. i got used to it.. its all i drink now.

ok,but if you drink it for a very long time it might give you ´troubles who knows.I drink too much coke and it isnt good for my teeth but I think candies are worseThis is about the same problem as with cellphones.Are the radiation dangerous?Some people say it could be...

I would suggest first doing some research before jumping to conclusions about whether or not chewing gum is safe...

How about un-acquiring the taste/need for sweets? Nearly a necessity for a diabetic and avoid exposure to chemical sweetners and unknown side effects.
