Not to enjoy with food, or casually having a drink, but sole purpose of getting drunk/

Do you think this is dangerous?

I want to do it sometimes.. Not to get trashed but get a good buzz...

 
i do on occassion to get a slight buzz, and then i cut the lights, hit the music, and head for the couch

my wife does on occassion because i think she may have an alcohol problem and she likes to prove me right....i thnk
 
It's probably safe to say that it's not something to do often. It could lead to problems. I'm never alone so I don't ever drink alone. I used to when I was single, but it was usually only two or three beers at a time.
 
my hatred of my job is really starting to drive me to it.

(not really... I'm just having a horrible day; the fact that it's Friday, my most hated day of the week as well just kinda pushes me over the edge. heh)
 
if you drink for a buzz - that's kind of aight.

but if you drink to get drunk - then you have a problem.

My tolerance for alcohol is such that trying to get drunk is a waste of time. Not that I am interested in that anyway, I just drink it for the flavor. I used to have a beer as soon as I woke up in the morning when I lived in Seattle. It took the place of soda in my diet.
 
If you've got alcohol, you're never alone. Alcohol doesn't care who you are. Alcohol won't judge you. Alcohol is always there for you, no matter what. If you've had a bad day, and you're not feeling well, alcohol won't give you a bunch of BS and nag at you all evening. Alcohol is the best friend you could ever have.
