Yes, especially Ale, though my favorite is mead. I'll be drinking a lot more mead in the future, but, not for a while. I have 6 gallons fermenting in the basement 🙂

Good beer > *

Oh, and getting my case of Shiner Bock at Sam's for $20 is pure win.

No kidding. If I've been working outside all weekend doing stuff around the yard cracking open a beer is about the best thing in the world. Same thing in the winter...pouring that first winter porter or chocolate stout is a little 12oz of heaven.

There is a guy I sit next to who doesn't drink ... actually I think most of the people around me do not drink.

I don't trust 'em.

What about not drinking alcohol for religious reason?

I was one of those until about a year ago, so I can respect people who make the choice for that reason.

Edit: As loki stated, I might not trust them for other reasons though 😀

I don't keep beer around the house for myself. Just for when people come over. And even then we don't have it much. Maybe if we play beer pong or something.

If I'm out, sometimes. But honestly I don't drink that often. It's more of necessity when you go clubbing though, so I'll preparty with friends. I'm Asian so I'm lightweight. I don't really need that much anyway.

Different situation entirely. Most drugs are illegal and not used in public social settings.

And? Pretty much every drug (worth taking) places you in an altered mental state. Why does one altered mental state build trust while another removes it? Because it is legal?

I think surfsatwerk meant that if he applied his non-trusting filter to illegal drugs, then there would be many more people on his do-not-trust list. Also, if someone only trusted people who did something illegal, then that judgment would be questionable.

I'm not saying I agree with him, but I don't think it makes sense to apply the same things someone says about legal drugs to illegal drugs. You're just trying to put words in his mouth.

Well I think that there are some differences (probably more similarities though). Some people use a couple drinks to "loosen up" in social settings, while you couldn't light/shoot up (depending on your drug of choice) in said social settings due to the illegality of other drugs.

Exactly. Doing heroin in public is not socially acceptable, but tailgating and having and drinking beer is.

What I'm getting at is it is retarded to say "Oh, I trust that guy 'cause he drinks beer!". Why, Why does that make someone more trust worthy? Its about as logical as basing your trust on when someone was born.

That being said, I'm probably taking this WAY to seriously... So, I'll bow out now 🙂 *bow*
