I just completed my taxes today. I used Turbo Tax Online (with free e-file) It's totally free for State Farm customers, a great deal!

I tell you what, itemizing makes a huge difference! Owning a house saves me about $1000 in taxes.

I haven't submitted it yet, I'm waiting to see if there are any more 1099s coming that I may have forgotten about.

By the way, when you say "yourself", do you mean with software or by hand with the old calculator? I did them by hand until 2000, although not terribly complicated. Still no fun though!
