Nope - I leave both of my home comps on 24/7. It's kind of wasteful, since they really aren't doing anything (except Folding@Home), but its so much more convenient to leave things open, leave programs running & not wait for the computer to boot up. I would use sleep mode during the night but it doesn't turn off my fans, so there's no noise savings, so I don't bother.

I think this school year I'm going to work on a baybus to control fan speeds & noise, then I'll probably use sleep mode more often on my main machine; my server will stay on 24/7.
