Do you do this while watching a live sporting event?

For the past few weeks I've started to get into some deep thinking about the evolution of Earth and our civilization while watching live sporting events. Specifically, every time I watch a live sporting event, I think back at all the major events in the evolution of the planet--from its birth, going through the evolution of life, the evolution of an intelligent species (us), and the development of advanced civilization--that led to a group of intelligent beings to come together to be entertained by two teams of equally intelligent beings who simulate a battle for the purpose of entertainment and personal gain (financial and moral).

Makes for some pretty interesting thinking.... and I won't even get into the related thoughts that could come of these mental meanderings (i.e. extraterrestrial sports)

like...internet... without media...

i mean shit, how many times you caught/felt someone staring at you.. there is def. something there, some form of unspoken communication... and we've built the interwebz, its logical to think over time we could evolve to not need media for internet communications.. shit we've already went wifi...

I think sporting events epitomize culture, which is the greatest culmination of order from disorder.
This is probably why major sporting events trigger this thought process for you.
