I've always thought of Valentine's day as a day for love birds.
It never really pertained to me since I've never been in a relationship or dated.
I never thought of it in a son/mother or father/daughter kind of relationship model.
My female coworker here says she recieves 4 valentines day gifts every year as an example, one of them being from her father.
I'm single(23), and my mom(50) is widowed. And yes, we live in the same house.
I've been suggested to do something by my coworkers, but I just don't know what to do or if I should even do anything at all.
It's too late for me to order flowers so that's out of the question.
Do people normally do things for their parents on Valentine's day?
