I started doing this about 6 months ago and now I find myself doing it like every half hour. Sometimes it cracks, other times it actually hurts when it doesn't crack and I try cracking it too fast. Tonight I cracked it and it double cracked, which made a really weird feeling... I'm nervous this is bad for me, but I've googled and some places say it's fine.

So what about you? Are you a regular neck cracker?

No, I very rarely, if ever, crack my neck.

My back, on the other hand, I crack quite frequently...especially when it feels "stiff". I'll do the 'ol turn my upper body as far as I can towards 180 degrees when I am sitting and brace myself against whatever is available (usually my desk).

My chiropractor told me doing it regularly can encourage the growth of bone spurs. Since I found out I'm gluten sensitive, I don't pop my neck very much anymore. Gluten would make my muscles tighten up, pulling my neck out of line all the time.

Used to do it alot, but figured its probably not a healthy thing. Now I try to minimize it by catching myself when I start doing it. Rolling your neck is better.

You ain't a man unless you crack that neck. Congrats to making it to manhood op. I crack a shitload of bones in my body including my hip on occasion but not on purpose.

Not usually on purpose. I may my chiro enough to do it for me. That's right, I'm such a cracker that I've outsourced my cracking!

I crack about everything: Neck, back, ankles, finger knuckles, toe knuckles and my bad knee.

Started when I was a pre-teen.

several times daily. It gets loud and sounds to my wife like I'm breaking my own neck. She hates it. Its to the point that I can crack it just turning my head the right way.
