Do you cook?

And I don't mean merely scrambled eggs, omlets and grilled cheese.

cup noodles and variants don't count either.

Nope. I'd like to learn but I never have the time.

There is no poll option for my situation.

Yep. BTW, whats there to learn? If you can follow directions, you can cook. I cook all the time..

I cook when it's convenient. Right now, in college, it's not that convenient. My biscotti is to die for 😀

I can cook but there's no way to cook in the dorms. mebbe when I move out, but for now all the cooking I'm doing is making biscuits in the toaster oven

I cook whenever I get the chance. And when I want to impress people, I make Provencal chicken. It takes about 4 hours, but I've had people tell me it's the best chicken they've ever had.

Do you cook?

Yeah, whenever I get the time I cook something exciting. I find it very rewarding and enjoyable.

Yes, I have to. There is no decent (for the price) Korean restaurant around here so I have to make my own dinner.

I cooked every day last week.

Stuff I've made this week:

Campanelle with pancetta and spinach
Yakisoba with garlic chicken
Santa Fe Omelette

I'll probably go home to the 'rents house more often to cook.. my mom is remodeling her kitchen. She spent more on appliances (ALL Viking) than most people spend on cars.

well, I grill steaks, burgers, and chicken, other than the easy stuff like eggs, toast, noodles, etc... that's about it.

You could always gnaw on a pair of leather shoes or something.

😀

Where's the option for people who cook every day for their family, not necessarily love it but have to do it? If I only had to cook sometimes, or if I had enough time to plan and cook a great meal, or if people that wolfed it down appreciated the effort, I might love it. I'm fueling three males upon whom subtleties/nuances of cooking are lost. I work full time outside the home but am nonetheless the one who is expected to get food on the table and cleaned up.

like i tell most people ...

i dont cook. i heat.

its all about the frozen costco food, man. =) other than that or find roommates/housemates that cook that can teach you. or wash their dishes while they cook. hahaha. thats what i do. im slowly learning.

😛 well i've baked a turkey with all the trimmings and stuff, thats about as complex as i've gotten😛

cookings not that hard with so many cookbooks around, just follow the instructions🙂

I cook dinner for myself just about every night of the week. Of course there are those lazy nights where I don't want to cook a d@mn thing because I have had a rough day of school, but I generally cook every night.
