I've cooked pretty much all my life with my hard working single mom going to work for long hours.
I cooked my first egg when I was 6.
I'm too lazy to cook now that I have a job and have money. I mostly cook chow mien, but I've also cooked spaghetti(plus made and baked own meatballs), really good 1lb burgers hickory smoked, and a lot more :)

Why brag abotu cooking 2-3 times a week when i think many of us in here are cooking 6-7 days a week. I am the cook in my family. Always been and probably always will be. Granted cooking is boring from time to time, but most if the timne i do enjoy it. And im working 5 days a week and at least 8 hours every working day. Bah, some people need to grow a pair :cookie:

EDIT: Right after posting i realised some people might get offended so just to make sure no one is, this little speech is for a friend of mine that have gotten everything served on a silver platter since he was born. His father bought him a 100k flat, paying his rent, letting him work for his company and still gives him money when he in some odd way spend all his cash on beer, or wuttEVAR! (And he doesnt even pay rent!!!! While me and my fiance pays about $1100/month for our flat...

I cook every once in a while and I'm pretty good at it, but usually I leave the cooking to the wife.

I wish I made the time to cook more often...but I rarely do. I generally prepare a bunch of food on Sunday for most of my weekly needs.

yep .. sometimes I start with something semi-prepared .. sometimes I start from scratch.

Now I just need to school my g/f in the culinary arts .. she a step above being able to burn water.

I'm a good cook, in fact, I wager I'm better than most of you. I know Beau can pull off better stuff than me.
