So is every sabertooth tiger. You should be thankful your ancestors didn't use your logic.

So is every toaster. You should be thankful every toaster designer is different so you aren't stuck with the same model for the rest of your life.

Everyone's a little bit racist
But seriously everyone that claims they're not racist at all is full of shit. I was born and grew up in the south and my parents are white people who grew up in the Detroit area. So I definitely grew up with some racist influences and tendencies. I work very hard to not prejudge people or let race influence my behavior, but there's always thoughts that jump into my head first or assumptions that I have to overcome.

And truthfully probably anyone who voted "race realist" should have actually voted "more racist than most".

I don't need to. You already know the answers.

Actually you probably assume very little about a black person based on their skin color.

If you saw a black person wearing a suit and reading the Wall Street Journal you would likely make completely different assumptions than if you saw a black person with his pants around his knees listening, large numbers of tattoos, and listening to rap music you could hear just as well as him.

Thoughts jumping into your head doesn't make you a racist. Acknowledging that you need to overcome those assumptions tells me that you are not a racist.

So tell us what we can assume about a black person with his pants around his knees listening[sic], large numbers of tattoos, and listening to rap music you could hear just as well as him.

Acknowledging the fact that there are biological differences between races makes you racist?

The same assumption you would make about a white or hispanic person with the same characteristics.

I wouldn't make any assumptions about a person's character based on their clothing. A person in a suit could be part of organized crime and a person in loose clothing could be going to college to become a scientist or anything at all. Either one of them could enjoy fucking toasters.

But you do make automatic assumptions and paint a broad brush when it comes to Christian. Your bigotry is of a different stripe.

People that willingly believe in fairy tales? Yes, I judge people by their actions. Guilty as charged, lol. Of course I would never assume they are a bad person, but I will question their reasoning skill.

Actually you are very much right here. Thanks for pointing that out.

Because you come off as if you believe you are better than them. Simply because they believe in religion, something that every civilization in history adopted.

Where did I say I was better than them? They might be great people. The only thing I think I am better than them at is not believing some old book is the word of some god. The fact they they do believe that tells me they can be influenced to believe anything.

So you acknowledge that if you were to say what you assume then people might think you are a full blown racist? Is that why you bitched out of answering the question?

1) I don't care what some internet forum posters think about me.
2) I don't consider being "racist" as such a dirty word as you believe it is. To you, that term invokes such venom, and is probably the worst thing someone can possibly be. To me, it's part of human nature. So if you want to call me "racist", all you are doing is saying "Life has taught you that different animals/groups of folks have different values, morals, and behaviors. Maybe its culture, evolution. Who knows, but in the end, we are different." in which I respond "Absolutely." So, if you (or anybody else here) want to label me a racist, go ahead. It doesn't hurt my feelings in any way.

So you're saying you're superior because you believe in something different? Got it.

The fact they they do believe that tells me they can be influenced to believe anything.
Then you're no better than the people you look down on.

Yes, it isn't surprising that a racist would also judge people's character based on their attire.

You do as well. If you see a redneck, you assume they drive around in 4 wheelers, have a large truck, and drink beer, and fish a lot. What's wrong with that?

Once again, I've never said I am superior. I don't look down on them. I simply question their ability to determine what is real and what is not.

You're so delusional it hurts. You are (yet again) implying they don't know what is reality because they have faith in what they believe in? You are contradicting exactly what you're trying to defend.
