Russia is more predictable, they tend to act in their own interests, and seem to like poking a finger in the eye of the USA when possible.

OTOH the USA can be a lousy unpredictable ally, and a harmless enemy.

I don't understand how the first few points don't also exactly match the US.

I know Russia's history pretty well.......and anyone that knows cannot possibly say they are a good guy. Heck especially Russia's citizens.....

I also don't understand how news/media is still calling the rebel group in Ukraine "Militants".....they are Russian army, hello.

No militant has weapons to shoot down a plane 30k feet in the air......

One thing I love about America is the distance to Russia. Farther the better.

Are we considering the US part of the "Good Guys?"

I don't consider anyone a "Good Guy" on the world stage. Everyone (Including the US) at the very least is a massive dick. Russia is more of an asshole. China is also made up of dicks.

Are they allies? Why the hell not? Alliances are made willy nilly according to whatever benefits what country at any given time.

Even during the Cold War, both sides were in a war over who could be more of an asshole to each other. There was no "good guy". To think there is means that you are a victim of US propoganda.

Canada are good guys. 🙁 And possibly Germany.

Who is this OP? They have a total of less than 10 posts and all they seem to do is start these retarded polls.

I've never met a Russian person I didn't like. They are really fun people. The Government I don't care for..

I guess that goes for all countries though. The common citizen is normally friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately governments rarely represent their people since they are solely interested in self-preservation.

I don't even think the U.S. is one of the "good guys " let alone, Russia. As for China, they would slag the entire world and most of their own country if it was advantageous.

I don't vote in public polls. I have greater trust in Russian technology than I do USA, or any English speaking country. They're unfriendly, if not outright hostile to the USA, so they're less likely to sell you out. They also have nothing on me, and if they steal my data, there's little they can do that'll affect me.

I trust Putin a lot more than I trust Obama. Putin's spy network is probably still limited to governments. Obama's spy network includes the private emails and phone calls of average Americans. Which one is the real bad guy here? Putin's not the one authorizing jail and execution without a trial.

if (Russians) steal my data, there's little they can do that'll affect me.
Exactly. You can still say all kinds of hateful things against Putin without being arrested or investigated by the IRS. Try the same thing against our own government? You get an IRS audit, then the IRS claims their server hard drives crashed, every single one of them, and they destroyed all tape drives and backup hard drives. And they destroyed all of the hard drives of people who sent or received emails from Lois Lerner.

Russia is the last good guy left, in the final stand against Librulism. Funny, since they're a bunch of ex-commies.
Sort of like Germany is the one EU country strongly opposed to trashing their currency. They have first hand experience of what it does.
