Why the hell would I conserve water?

1. The cats routinely drink from the toilet
2. Conserving water is a waste of time unless you live in an area where the supply of water < the demand for water.

The water table holds a finite amount of water. It's constantly replenished. Around here, use is less than the rate it's replenished.

I live in a desert and I flush my toilet every time its used. The water gets flushed into the sewer system where it ends up in water treatment facilities.

Water flushed down the toilet or urinal doesn't simply disappear, never to be used again.
