Most of my instructors have prepared Powerpoint lecture notes so I sit towards the back because it's easier to read the screen.

Ugh, I hate powerpoint lectures with a passion. They especially suck for engineering classes because it takes a boring class and makes it even easier to fall asleep.

Actually, it's usually not too bad. The instructors usually put the lecture up on their website the night before class and I can print them off, 3 slides to a page with room for notes on the right-hand side. 🙂

I'm too paranoid to sit up front, thinking that everyone is watching me. :Q I always sit in the back, being more relaxed and get good grades. I think the students that sit up front are a bunch of weenies. 😛 Professors used to pick on me a lot but I was always the smartest one in the class and joked around with my professors.

Also if you want to get to know the professors just keep meeting with them during their office hours. I used to goto all my professors during their office hours and just chill out and conversate.

never sit in front unless I have to,
I hate the pressure of having to face the lecturer and listen to every single word he/she says for the entire hour...
