Do you catch yourself watching every plane that flies overhead?

I was riding my bike around the lake yesterday, and caught myself watching every plane as it made its approach to the airport. At first I figured i was just a paranoid nutcase, then I noticed all the guys on the golf course doing the exact same thing. They would stop what they were doing, and watch the plane from the time they heard it, till it disappeared from view.

mostly ya ... we were eating dinner and pointed out like 3 planes .... more self-conscience of it now.

I always did so long as I was outside or by the window. I haven't paid any extra attention to it though.

I too must say I pay attention to them now, more aware than before. There's that sense of insecurity and discomfort you kinda feel from time to time...

Not at all.

I don't think the terrorists will use another plane as a missle. We're waiting for em now.

Yes and I think about going back to my old department which was only 1 floor high with a below ground level floor. Currently I work in a 40 plus story high rise, and I don't think the paranoia will go away for quite some time.

I did the first time I saw one the day they reopened the airports. I got out of my truck to head into work and one was passing overhead. I stood there for about a minute just staring at it. Haven't really paid attention to them since then.

I've been doing this. Granted, I live under the no fly zone that has always been around Camp David (that appears to have expanded lately) and we rarely heard any planes. Now we've been having fighters flying patterns when someone is up here and its just strange to hear the noise when I used to it being so quiet.
