I'm not anti-gun, I believe in the 2nd amendment, but IMO, too many people think they NEED to carry for their own protection...when in reality, it's more of a "macho thing" than a real need.

I carry to protect myself AND OTHERS. I think that's the point most people here are missing.
 
Man I wish It was legal to sign a waiver. 10/10 someone can pull a trigger faster than you can draw.

Not true. The person holding someone else at gunpoint isn't planning on killing them at that very moment. They have to process what's happening as the person at gunpoint draws and pulls the trigger immediately. I've seen the simulation play out over 20 times, and only a few times has the "bad guy" gotten the first shot off.
