Has anyone ever had probs running a computer caseless from, say, outside electrical noise from the absence of a metal grounded case?
 
Your PC Case will close when Baby Skoorb comes along... you may claim to have workarounds, but, it will be closed eventually. Mark my words.

Oh, and if you have upgrade intentions, you might want to get that moving too... priorities change... gotta think about college funds now. 😉

First comp I built I put in the gas and grounded it directly to the case without the intermediary brass screws. It didn't turn on at all 🙂 It was ok though once I had a tech tell me what the heck I'd done.

I took care of them yesterday with a 2500+ Barton on the way, which I aim to have at 3200+. I will put the side back on the case, and maybe if I'm feeling stupid even buy a couple of LED fans for the side too 🙂 Course, eventually I'd need to put a grill over them to keep any prodding fingers away!

My buddy has a 2-yr old, and he told me that his son is drawn to things that glow/flash. It became a problem when he got a PC case with the glowing power button. I think he also told me that the button shifts from color to color.

You must care about your PC. Why else would you have the compressed air laying there for cleaning it? No one cleans a PC's insides if they don't care about it!! 🙂
