Do you buy more or less CDS since RIAA BS?

There was a point during napster, where people online were introducing me to all kinds of insane music that I loved. I would order the CDs online and get them shipped from wherever I could.

Since this whole fiasco came about, I've noticed a huge decline in the ammount of new music that I listen to and also the fact that I havn't bought a single new cd in over a year. I do not listen to the radio or watch mtv, so basically I have lost my main means of hearing new music without going out of my way.

Screw the RIAA. I didn't completely agree with the fileswapers at first (even though I download rarely) but the RIAA has gone out of their way to change my mind lately. I can understand their argument, but the way they're going about things is criminal. I can't say I'll never buy another cd from an artist under the RIAA umbrella but that's certainly my goal.

I just bought my first CD in like two years yesterday.

Mainly it was to put me over the total for free shipping at Amazon.ca. Apocalyptica was worth it, though, IMO.

The other few CDs I've picked up have all been used.
