I think spending money on virtual items in MMORPGs is stupid. My friend has spent probably 500 dollars on Lineage II, not counting the monthly fee. I think thats incredibly stupid, considering I can be happy with just 1 game, and you could buy 10 games for 500 dollars. For anyone who knows the game, the highest level he ever got before starting a new character is 40...out of 75. He starts a new character every month or so.
 
i used to sell in game items from diablo 2 on ebay. ah... made enough to pay for the game and eat out all the time for a year...
