I used to shop for VeggieFrog and have stuff delivered once a month or so.

She is in college in the UK and felt bad about asking me for money. So, I would go to Sainsbury's online and shop for her. If I was not sure what she needed, i would put it all in the online trolley and have her b/f log on and look... make changes or whatever... then have it delivered.

:)

For those of you that do, or have, I'd appreciate it if you'd share your experiences. Also, any recommendations for sites?

I'm in New Hampshire, so it'd have to be somewhere that services around here.

Thanks! :)

When we were in our apartment, we ordered online at least twice @ ~$200 a trip. It beat wasting time shopping and lugging up groceries 3 flights, but it was still uber-expensive and not really worth it.

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure.

Well, the poll doesn't lie!

sadly yes. I used to use homegrocer.com (I think that's what it was called) in Dallas. I loved that you could pick out the ripeness of banana that you wanted :) then the dude would bring your groceries in, and wear little foot covers so as not to soil your floors.

heh i think back then all you needed was a barely marketable idea ( like that ) and a piss poor business plan and someone would give you millions of dollars

I got some Pizza through Everquest once.
I tried to order some stuff from Safeway.com but they wanted an order of $50+ and I only wanted a gallon of milk and some summer sausage.
