Here's the subject at hand.
So I'm outside spraying fruit trees. The critter in the picture above watched me all morning. I skipped the tree he was in because I figured tree poison couldn't be too awful good for him. I went over and had a talk with him about what he was doing here, and he just cocked his head and eyeballed me intently.
I had to leave to hit the garden center for more chemicals, and when I got back he was still there. I took my camera over with me and climbed up the tree with him and took his picture.
It turned out he had a legband on, so he belongs to someone.
Here's where it gets weird...
For the last 5 years or so I had thought I wanted to raise some roller pigeons. I've never seen them in action, I've only read about them. They actually do tumbles as they're flying. They sometimes start tumbling and don't quit until they get right near the ground, pulling out of the tumble and taking some incredible g's.
As soon as I was done snapping pics, this guy hit the air. He flew straight up and started tumbling. He flew around and around me showing off his stuff. He's out back sitting in one of my big hickory trees right now.
I'm inclined to take this as a sign that this old boy needs to get some roller pigeons.
It's too weird of an occurrance to think anything else.
Whatta ya think?

Cliffs:
1.) Haunted pigeon stalks me all morning.
2.) I've always wanted roller pigeons, but have never seen one.
3.) Haunted pigeon lets me take pics.
4.) Haunted pigeon is actually a roller and performs for me.
5.) I think it's a sign from God.

Give him some food. Let him hang around until you can figure out who the owner is.

Watch this...I'm going outside again.
Gonna put earth fabric under the blueberry bushes. I might mow some grass, tto.
I have some new mychorrizal bacteria fertilizer stuff that I have to drill into the blueberry bush roots. It's gonna be fun. :D

Certainly don't believe in fate as most people define it, but I do believe a lot more about us is genetically predetermined than we'd like to admit, especially in existential western cultures.

I do believe in fate. But I only think of it when things are not under my control. For example, if I was in a plane, I don't keep thinking whether it's gonna crash down or fly safetly, since it's my fate and I can't do anything about it. But I do worry about my career because I am the one who controls it and make it successful.
