No actually. Someone at the top of the page put a link to that site and I posted other stuff from that site.

After watching the news recently which featured some children who had developed cancer at an early age and died makes me believe that either god doesn't exist or that he is cruel bastard! :|

The children featured had different types of cancer.

They called it a "grab bag of cancer," but that didn't seem to cheer the kids up.

Oh, hell has a reserved seat for meeee.

Absolutely. It doesn't require fanaticism to believe in God. Look around. There are millions of unexplained events and which make life not only possible but pleasant; are they ALL accidents?. Yes, there are Tsunamis and wars and death as well, but there isn't enough server space in here to list the possibilities as to why God allows them to happen.

If I had a more scientific mind I would look more closely at proving it to others without using traditional biblical principals many people are afraid of.

For starters... nature gives us things which cannot exist without an opposite. You can't know cold without heat, can't have light without dark, can't understand right without knowing wrong, can't have bad (satan)without good (God). There are many others, so why would the possibility of God's existence be different?

There's only one all powerful force in the universe and science has already discovered it; Gravity.
It created the Sun, planets, and the stars in the sky, it just needs a lot of time to do it.
It's nice to think there's an actual God running heaven with pearly gates waiting for us when we die, but please..
The theory of a God or god-like dieties was born from the concepts in religions.
And since any religion is just a metaphor of life, it shouldn't be taken seriously.
I'm not here to tell anyone their wrong but this is how I see things, I can't just pretend to believe in a force with a conscious.

in short i would not right off Bible as a useless pile of sh!t, but rather an excellent literary work of the time. the only value it has, however, is strictly from academical viewpoint. greek mythology makes a great topic for an ancient history / literare class, but to actually believe in something written there would make you seem lunatic to most 'ordinary' people. IMO it just so happens that the Europeans with christian belief of all sorts delegated the dominance in political / military / economic realms to americans, and chrstianity is flavor of past few centuries. i would not be surprised if it gets surpassed by another emergining power in the future, if there is a such thing. aside from my stand on christianity and its popularity, i am open to ideas as i am with most other things. just because you cannot prove God does not exist does not somehow give you a basis to claim he must exist; show me a convincing reason he does and maybe i will change my view then. merely stating the world is too complex to be explained by a series of coincidental events is nothing more than a blanket statement showing unwillingness to remain open minded and accept new discoveries.

Yes I do. Most people who don't believe in God seem to ask for him on their deathbed.

Which is bullsh!t. They aren't 'coming to their senses' and realizing their is a God and they've been denying it all this time, they are just looking for a cop-out so they can think their existance isn't ending.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life: no one can come to the Father(God)(in Heaven), but by me." (John 14:6) This means that if you die without trusting in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour you will die in your sins and be forever separated from the love of God in a place called Hell. The Holy Bible descibes Hell as a place of eternal torment, suffering, pain and agony for all those who have rejected Jesus Christ. The good news is that you can be sure you are going to Heaven when this life is over if you allow Jesus Christ to save you today. Do not wait until later to be saved because you do not know exactly when you will die.

No, I've gone from agnostic as a kid to atheist as an adult, it never made much sense to me. Viewing it from the outside, it makes a lot of sense though, and truth be told probably does a lot of good. If some people need to think they're being watched by a father figure in the sky in order to function in society & play by the rules, I'd rather they do believe.
