Yeah, there's a reason everything happens. It's called Causality.

I assume you're speaking about fate. IMO, Fate only exists in the fact that everything that can happen, does happen. It doesn't always happen in our reality, but it does happen in alternate realities.

The universe is composed of an infinite number of interdependent processes governed by the laws of probability. So, no.

yes there is....your wheels were turned too far, and as your car obeyed the laws of physics it invariably caused the location of the wheel and curb to intersect.

I know, that's not really what the OP is asking, but that's your reason!:p

Everything happens because something else (a physical or chemical reaction) makes it happen.
Reason is unnecessary, random, meaningless events take place every day.

Physically, yes everything has a reason for happening.
Metaphysically, being agnostic/closet Christian(?) I'd have to say, I don't know.

Yes, but not like it's fate or some great plan of the universe. Call it cause and effect, or whatever.

Why not?

..most things happen as the result of planning..accident induced events allow us to implement our planning for such occurances...chit happens.

i think things happen for a reason, for whatever newtons law it is with the for every action...

I think what the spirit of the question was though is do we believe in fate. If that is your question, then i answered no to it.

All that Fate, meant to be crap is for the movies.

It's a great thought. I've had the most astonishing series of highly improbable (100 to 1 against, 10,000+ to 1 against) events happen in the last seven years, all of them bad. Unfortunately, I've yet to see anything good happen because of something that seemed bad at the time. The things that have seemed bad at the time, now that I have the benefit of hindsight, seem at least as bad and completely senseless.
