yes and no, and if they were it was minimal. I think a country like Iran would have had more involvement than Iraq

As long as the boys are mobilized, why don't we just clean up that corner of the world. I think any country who released comments along the lines of "haha you had it coming" is under scrutiny right now, and is a potential target.

I wouldn't mind it if we just wiped out all those countries and took the oil and then sold it cheaper which would boost the economy so much

And where the hell do you get your information? Iran is not the enemy this go around. Unless there is something blatant that I am missing, Iran is supporting the US.

Well, the FBI is looking for recruits, specifically individuals that speak Farsi. Also, it is widely known that the Iranian government has sponsored terrorism, even so far as having financial support on their annual budget. I believe that was on 20/20 or Primetime Live. They actually showed an official document that listed $20 million dollars for that year going to some Islamic fundamentalist group. Iran does support them.

Iran actually dislikes the Taliban more than it dislikes the U.S.

Iranians are Shiites which is different than the muslin?s in Afghanistan. Iran has shown a will to join the modern world in the last few years. I believe that it?s current leader may have even been educated in the U.S.

VP Cheney said no. There are other incidents that we can hang on Iraq but not this one, yet. A slew of things that were considered too repulsive are going to become SOP. Things like shooting down commercial airliners that are not responding the directions and are on a dangerous path. We have never even considered that before. We will become friendly with all sorts of unsavory types to get the information we need and cannot be obtained any other way. Cheney said this is a nasty dirty business. We will have to be as nasty and dirty as they are to win. Bribes will be paid early and often to win the hearts and minds of the moles. We have never fought a war like this. It won't be won with the Air Force and tanks.
