true love? As opposed to what? Fake love? Untrue love?
I do not believe that falling in love... I think that is really falling in lust.
I believe in ... growing in love. the kind of love that comes with time, and affection, and appreciation. the kind that comes from standing strong together when the sh!t hits the fan. the kind that becomes solid, and trusting and allows us to let all our walls down and to show all our insecurities. The type of love that allows ourselves to better our partners and want to better ourselves for our partners.
This type of love is not fallen into, imho... it is grown into and it takes time.

I'm not sure.
I have a very very strong suspicion that love is nothing more than a chemical reaction in our brains to further the species, but then again I have a very strong suspicion that we are the eventualities of a very intricate, very perfect universe, so there may be true love made by the chemicals in our brain but there is no other way for it to be.

no. and the concept is why we have the divorce rate we have. people have their eyes out for "true love" and will jump at it when their current relationship doesn't measure up. no relationship could. soul mates = bullsh*t. in the past the best they would settle for was a concept of kindred spirits without the heavy emotional intimacy burden.
