It's not photoshopped. It's a frickin' shadow.

The photo's metadata shows the file passed through photoshop elements 2.0 and that It was taken with a Motorola Camera.

Haha, no ghosts dont exist, and neither does heaven. Hell is the state of California.

Then what happens to the "life force" when you die? How is a living corpse different from a dead body?

your life force is just random chemicals and electrons and other stuff wizzing around.

Those electrons and chemicals are still present after you are dead. Also the body is less than random, it's semi-predictable. The heart is a great example of that.

Photoshopped? Gee.... I wonder.

Although I suppose it is possible that when the phone is plugged into his computer it launches Elements to import and save them.

But still, that looks very Photoshop-ish.

Lmao, nice catch 😀

 Good point, Photoshop Elements could have been used to transfer photographs from the phone.

Metadata says Motorola 1.3MP, odds are it's a camera phone.

I'm not a doctor or scientist so I dont know exactly. But there are no souls. Perhaps oxygen in the brain and a beating heart. Someone more educated on the subject can chime in, but we're not just magically alive. And when certain body parts cease to function we just die and decompose. Once you're dead, you will just cease to exist. Kinda harsh, but whatever, you'll never know.

More than likely it was taken using a camera phone.

Several models fit the bill, including the Razr.

So the last 5 posts were spent deducing something that was clearly explained in the FIRST SENTENCE on the page with the picture.

We will all find out one day. Man can create a lot of things from scratch, including atoms and synthetic meat but he cannot create life out side of the normal means. Scientists even say that we will one day in the next few decades be able to grow any new body part that is needed. But we cannot take all those parts, put them together as if you were building a PC or Car, and have a living, waking, and talking person. That "life force" must come from somewhere. Because if we could control that life force; we could animate any object that we wanted, including rocks.

Sorry, BIOS not found.....

It was for the newcomers to this thread. Anyone else who says it after this point had obviously failed to read any part of this topic.

No, sorry, we won't. Once you're dead, you won't be finding out much of anything. Like has been said, that 'life force' comes from electrons whizzing around your head. And no, these electrons are not 'still present' after you are dead. No oxygen in the cells, no electrons, game over.

As for growing new organs and putting them together, if you do it just right then yes, you will have a walking talking person. We 'grow' humans in a womb all the time. Create a sophisticated artifical womb, and there you go.

Ghosts and such only affect you if you let it.

They have no power to scare you if you ignore them. I really doubt they exist.

I wish that you would use full quotes instead of editing what I say. Starting with raw carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, etc and making it from scratch and not a seed provided by another living being.

I'd like a maybe. I don't think it is likely that there is a good or a heaven, but I do find it possible that there maybe potential forces and essences that may be able to carry on after death. Whether those essences are controlled or conscious is another story. ohh and the photo looks like a shadow. probably a speaker, euloglugler or priest.

OK the only question that I have is why do people take pictures at funerals or even video tape them. Because the one that I was at two weeks ago there was a lady video taping the whole thing. What is the point of it?

Yeah, I'm in total agreeance with NanoStuff. Maybe you will know that you are dying, but once life actually ends, you'll never know. The only continuation of your life will be the remembrence by others, but eventually they'll all die to, and books written about you will disappear, and over time it'll be like you never existed. Perhaps you can make a tiny impact on civilization and/or social life, but eventually with enough time even that will vanish.

Might not be chopped, there are a million other, non supernatural explanations for this. Probably chopped tho

I guess that you do not believe in a god either?

Sorry to be a grammer nazi, but this one is starting to get out of hand. There is no such word as agreeance: It's agreement.
