Do you believe in fate?

As in, your life is somehow already decided? That while you may make minor adjustments, but ultimately you'll end up where you are slated to be?

Have you ever thought about the things that happened in your life at various times, and realize that the events are just too much to be a coincident?

Do you believe in life after love, can you feel something inside you say you really don't think you're strong enough?

:hmm:

I believe in LA having the most whores and sluts and hoes who love your money more than anything.

I believe that the universe is deterministic. In other words, I think things probably can't be any different than they are. These coincidences you speak of...they reek of a guiding intelligence. I don't buy that.

Edit: Why would you think anyone would remember that song?

I don't believe in fate if you mean that a god determined your future for you. I certainly don't think any god has a "plan" for anyone. If he does, he should be fired and handed a broom because my floor needs sweeping.
As far as the universe being deterministic, I don't understand quantum theory or uncertainty principle or anything relating to physics in this way, so I cannot say. I have to be content to say I don't know, which is much better than pretending to know things I don't or can't. I wouldn't be surprised either way though. I can easily see a universe being fully predictable from start to finish so long as all natural laws are fully understood. I can also see quantum weird stuff effecting the universe in such a way that enables an infinate number of possible outcomes.
Jesus predicting the future? Thats pretty small.

Does that mean half the people in ATOT were born trolls, and there's nothing they can do to possibly ever change this?!?!?
