Do you believe in aliens?

I believe in aliens. Why? Well, science tells us that there are millions of galaxies from the outer rim of our galaxy. There are other planets and other types of "species" that are related to us.

I believe that there probably is some form of life outside of this planet. That said, I don't believe that they would travel all the way here just to make funny designs in wheat fields and stick probes up people's asses.

like in the movie contact, i think it is a big waste of space if there arent any other intelligent species

The invading species, in the movie contact, was not intelligent. You do not travel hundreds/thousands/millions/billions of light-years to conquer an inhabitable planet. =Þ

That said, I am to understand that the odds of life on one of the tens/hundreds of planets orbiting the billions/trillions of suns in one of the billion/trillion galaxies is essentially one. The odds of sentient life on one of these planets is also essentially one; and the odds of intelligent life is also essentially one. The question really isn't if they exist, but rather how do we contact them?

well said

I believe that creatures come from the sky, be they demon or angle, they are no thing in between;

through out the bible their are references to creatures from the sky;

though i think the majority of 'abductions' and sightings are false.

i don't remember an invading species from the movie contact.. just the one species that got them to build the travel device.

yeah seriously, "Do you believe extraterrestrial beings exist?" would be better, because alien is an ambiguous term.

Yes, they come from Mexico and pick vegetables in fields. 🙂

I believe there are alien life forms... but I really don't think they visit earth regularly.

I believe in aliens.

I also believe that they are our creators and we are there lab rats. Sort of like how we keep ant farms.

Maybe it's the mischievous, teenage aliens that do that stuff.

we're like ants compared to the giant universe.

Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.

explain...i am actually interested in your reasoning

I have no way to know. How could I?

Life elsewhere? Perhaps.

Comprehensible intelligence? Seems unlikely. Just because something lives does not mean it comprehends or desires space travel.
