do you beat your computer?

I've kicked my Pentium rig before for not starting up constantly. That's why I made the switch over to AMD.
 
the thought of throwing my computer out of the window for the chance of having a better social life he gone through my mind a few times...
 
I used to give my front fan a good kick before I realized that it was a fin INSIDE the computer that was making that noise... my video card's fan actually hehehehehe

Same here. I threaten it occasionally, too. That's usually enough to get it working. I used to have an old Powermac that I would beat all the time though. One of those all-in-one deals, with the monitor and everything, you know? Anyway, the monitor had a slightly loose connection that would act up every once in a while - a good smack on the side would straighten it out though.

LOL,, i sometimes smack the $h!t out of my monitor.. especially today.. i am getting a new one in like 2 dayz.. and it has been giving me problems..

and the swearing.. well i do give it a few threats and it straightens out!!!
 
in all honesty when my computer freezes and i lose a very important file or if it freezes in the middle of an important conversation..i can get really pissed. It's not like i actually go under my desk to hit my computer...but sometimes my keyboard and monitor gets a swift kick in a the ass.
 
I never beat my computer.. when I had a 15&quot; monitor on my old computer I'd get pissed at the computer but I'd hit the monitor.. now that's some warped punishment it's not like the monitor did anything..
With my new computer when I get really mad at it I underclock it and ridicule it 😉 it's too expensive for physical violence.. I think mocking it is good enough..
 
I haven't ever attacked my computer or monitor, but my computer desk has seen the fury of my fist many of times. Usually it was because I was playing a game and got my ass kicked!
 
i should Sue Netscape.. if i am doing something inmportant.. Netscape crashes.. computer SOMETIMES locks up.. and something feels my rage!! 😉!!!
