Do you basically buy everything with the frame of mind...

I see a lot of people who like to buy all their clothes from walmart(nothing wrong with that I occcasionally do also) etc, and would never think about buying something overpriced...I know some people who buy all their personal needs at the dollar store also, wether they have the money of not...

I am just curious...I also like to save a lot of money, and if it gets the job done, then who cares if its not name brand...

but with other things I just seem to get it becuase I like them no matter what (like I just bought a pair of oakley's even thought i could have gone to target and saved 200$ and gotten 12 pairs)...

whats your opinion?

If two items are identical, then I will always go for the cheaper item.

I also believe that, in general, you get what you pay for.

I dont buy cloths that advertise someone's logo...I dont get paid for that...I look for deals and sales on items that I would like to get then compare it to others..name brand is never the deciding factor, its quality and functionality of the product...i.e I never buy Sony, way overpriced, I would get a Pioneer product anyday over them

Not everything...I mean some stuff I want a nice one because I really enjoy that item. However, if we're talking about a spoon or something...its hard to fvck up a spoon so I might as well buy the cheap one.

That's why I love clearances...get the good stuff cheap. I got a seersucker suit from J. Crew...$110. Linen jacket from NY&C...$40. Roomba Discovery from Strawbridge's....$150

Exactly. I bought a rather expensive front-loading washer, but I bought a cheapo dryer because I hang most of my clothes to dry, and, well... how can you fvck up drying clothes? They spin around and blow warm air at the clothes. Not that some models aren't better than others, but I'm not paying $500 for a dryer unless it services me.

Meh. for clothes (pants at least) I have to spend a bit of money. Target, WalMart, Kmart, etc don't really stock 36" length pants. Hell, its hard to find 32"s at Kmart, I guess only short fat people shop there...for other things, price must be weighed by value. No Powmax cases, 'cause they suck.

I always go with the best I can afford. Doesn't necessarily mean it'll be more expensive *cough*iPod*cough*.
