So do you?...let's say ur in a relationship and u do something wrong, do u explicitly apologize
or u just try to sweep it away and 'pretend' all's cool after a couple hours? I mean since u are together,
there is probably a level of understanding such that you don't have to apologize for everything, unlike to
strangers/colleagues/regular friends...but in general do you often do or do not? It irritates me when the other SO
do not and acts all 'regular' after a while...and i'm not appeased yet.

Pls try to state your ethnicity too coz i've noticed that certain breeds are more inclined to do so than others.

It's probably more important to apologise because then they know that you're sorry and you can have make up nookie or whatever ;)

If I'm wrong or even if I'm right but got my point across in an insensitive manner I apologise.Life is rough enough, why hurt the person I love?

If you're a guy you apologize. Even if you were 100% right and she was 100% wrong, you apologize, it's easier that way. You don't have to mean it, you don't have to feel it, you just need to say it. If my girlfriend shot me I'd just apologize for being in the path of the bullet and for bleeding all over her new skirt.

If you're a girl, no, you don't apologize. You wait for the guy to apologize what whatever you did wrong, then a sexual favor will smooth things over enough that it's forgotten.

When I have a reason to apologize, you'd probably get tired of hearing me repeat it. I tend to continue apologizing until I can do something to right the situation.

"Certain breeds"? That's offensive! I demand an apology! :p

Seriously though, learn grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation.

Well, in certain situations. Lets say that my Girlfriend found a bunch of porn on my computer I didn't tell her about...

Both of us apologize profusely for things that we have no control over and then tell the person apologizing off for somthing that IS their fault.

For example:
"WTF, turn the music down, I've got a headache"
"Sorry."
"No, don't be sorry. I'm the one with the headache."

and

"Dude, my dog just died."
"I'm sorry."
*hug, acceptance of apology*

Yeah. DYSFUNCTION.

Oh yeah, you want to know race as well? I'm Hitlerian German/Native American. She's Moussolinian Italian/Native Mexican. Both proud people combined with evil people

I apologize whenever I have wronged someone, not only out of deference to the other person, but also for myself as an acknowledgement that I'm an imperfect person who makes mistakes like everyone else. It keeps you humble.
