with beer, I heard its good to pour it out of the can into the glass, make a nice head, that way some of the CO2 is released and its not as filling.

The only thing I pour from a can to a glass is beer. But I drink beer from the bottle though. I just don't like canned beer.

only if i'm really thirsty/hot, so i can gulp down more of it at once. the opening on a can is too small.
