Driving on the 405 today near Seattle.....

A young lady (early 20's) was using a CURLING IRON.....

WTF.

Scares me that people actually think that is ok to do while driving.

Sorry, no pic....drove past too quickly.

It scares me when they use those eyelash tools while driving. I am thinking if there is an accident and the airbag deploys.......yuck

I saw a guy driving with a laptop out in the passenger seat once.

That is to say, he was trying to use it. It wasn't just sitting there in the seat.

Yea, I've done my calc 3 homework on the way to class before on the freeway. But then again it was bumper to bumper so I just had to look up every 2-3 minutes to see if I could scoot forward another foot and a half.

no, women do not think this is ok. what the hell.. are you sure it was a curling iron? unless she has something to plug it into her car i don't see how the thing would stay hot.

I do this some times usually to change the music playing in iTunes. I hook up my laptop to my car audio system.

But this one time, it was 11 at night and I was driving down a highway with hardly any cars. I did some sporatic chatting on AIM.

no, it is not ok to do that. It is not ok to use that nor a flat iron, nor do your makeup in the car.
I drive a lot and i see a lot of stuff that annoys me with drivers (usually women)... talking on the phone obvlious to things and cars around them.

If I drove by that woman, I'd immediately send her a stern note from my Blackberry.

Oh, come on, mosh, haven't you seen those Ronco butane powered curling wands? You know the same folks that brought us such last minute Christmas joys like the inside-the-eggshell egg scrambler, the Bopeal Pocket Fisherman, the Yarn Buddy, etc.
:)

Yeah, the scary drivers are the ones looking for that next CD whether it's in a CD wallet or on the floor.
